Sisters of Battle: Army Lists


























In the Previous exhaustive volumes we wen't on a little trip through Codex: Sisters of Battle!
And despite previous implications that the list "Suckzors" I believe we found a lot of strong points the list has, and an overall average of quality that would leave orks and tau very jealous.
Though just like orks and tau it's important to steer clear of potentially pointless units and make a list that's well rounded and to the point, which isn't always the easiest. So let's start with some easy lists for Sisters.



List One:Red Hot Mechanized Microwaves.

HQ

Cannoness: Power Weapon, Inferno Pistol, Rosarious. 115pts

2007 Pts.

You could drop the dozer blades off the Excorcits and Take some gear for the priest to even up to 2000pts. This list let's sisters get their short ranged melta shots into the right spots quickly. It's going to do well against many parking lot lists with it's tons of meltas. After their tanks are dead Exorcists and Melta squads that are left can target and elimate infantry, hopefully from inside their rhinos. Because of the weak number of sisters in this list (Only 66) I would try to stay inside your rhinos for as long as you can, until you can guarantee the safety and elimination of people outside. For increased versitility you could give the regular sisters superiors combi-flamers, same could be true for the dominions. The key's to the strategy of this list again is: Stay inside the rhinos, and keep those things moving.

1980pts.

I threw the priest in there because I didn't want to calculate how many points the extra retributors would be, but I would take them up to whatever the most girls you can fit in with the extra points from him. Anyway, 135 Sisters, almost all of which can auto-rally and 1 squad that's Feel No Pain, Stubborn Ld10 with +1 Attack. There's not a lot of range in this list which means that the Retributors are going to take a lot of heat, but it should give your sisters time to move up the first turn into cover (run if they gotta) and then stand still and start cranking out bullets. The army stresses the sisters strength of being just as good (if not sometimes better) shooters than marines and being able to get a sisters for less points. You could take Heavy Bolters in the sisters squads to give the army a bit more range but it wouldn't mean you'd still have to move up against gunlines, it would also take away the range 24" heaters which you'll probably need dearly if your opponent isn't going to come to you.

Well These Two Lists are in No Way! exhaustive of all the potential builds for sisters of battle. But both might need some of your own changes to get them going for you. The Mech list is one I've personally had good results with, and I had also been running a foot blob list with jacob, but with dominions in rhinos, which also worked well. But now my time is up!   1. normal sister squads cant take heavy bolters. and were are the rules for Jacob as it no codex

    Sisters of Battle squads can definitely for sure have heavy bolters in the WD Codex.

    The Rules for Jacob are in the first part of the Codex in White Dwarf 379. While the points costs and equipment options are in White Dwarf 380.
